Exiting the Bus

Exit in an Orderly Fashion

Now that we’ve arrived, please follow the guidelines below to exit the bus with consideration for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Thank you for riding with us, and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip!

Getting off the Bus

Wait for a Complete Stop

Before standing up or moving towards an exit, be sure that The Bus has stopped moving and is completely stationary. This will ensure your safety and the safety of those around you.

Once The Bus has stopped the bus operator will assist those who have securement straps around their mobility devices.

Ask for Assistance, if Needed

You are expected to remove all personal items that you brought on The Bus when you exit. If this becomes difficult, please alert the driver to the situation.

Exit The Bus – using the front door

Exiting the bus should occur in a orderly row-by-row manner starting with the rows at the front and to the right of The Bus. Be patient as each rider steps down and on to the sidewalk.

Exit The Bus – using the ramp or lift

Our driver will deploy the ramp or lift for your safe exit. Please remain seated or stationary until they state the equipment is ready for your use.
